Specialized Supportive Housing Programs
Commune Community Services provides a variety of programs for adults with developmental disabilities. Here’s a brief overview of the services that we offer:
Staffed Homes
Staffed homes typically refer to residential settings where trained staff members are available to provide support and care to individuals with disabilities. These homes may have staff members present around the clock or during specific hours, depending on the needs of the residents. The staff members assist with activities of daily living, medication management, and any other necessary support to ensure the well-being of the individuals.
Therapeutic Care Homes
Therapeutic care homes are designed to provide a more specialized level of support for individuals with complex needs, including developmental disabilities. These homes often have a higher staff-to-resident ratio and offer specialized therapeutic services such as counseling, behavioral support, and other interventions aimed at promoting personal growth and development.
Shared Living Services
Shared living services involve individuals with disabilities living in a home alongside non-disabled individuals or families who provide support and companionship. This arrangement encourages community integration and social inclusion. The non-disabled individuals or families may receive training and support from Commune Community Services to ensure they can effectively support the residents with disabilities.
